Anyone got one??

Any feedback, good or bad, welcomed please.

They seem quite a lot as initial outlay, BUT if in the long run you're saving money............???

I think I'm right in assuming that IF you buy a solar panel, you need a compatible fence energiser to go with it? i.e you can't just plug the solar thingey into any old energiser, you have to have the specific one??

Personally, if I was going to buy one, I'd want the "Hotline" one as I've always had this brand and trust them implicitly, plus their customer service & repairs section is reasonably local, and second-to-none.

I've got one...it works well on sunny days....not *as* well on cloudy days, but my horses respect the fencing, so its good enough....I would never remember to charge batteries all time so it works for me!!

I have a seperate solar panel, from Robinsons, attached to my leisure battery, then the energiser runs from the battery. Been using it for three years and never had to charge the battery myself. Fantastic saving.
