Solariums/wash boxes - ADVICE PLS

Hi all.

Looking for a bit of advice really.

I'm currently refurbishing my livery yard, nothing major just a good paint job and we've redesigned tack rooms etc!!

We are wanting to put in a solarium and wash box in one stable.

What is the difference between infrared and a thermalarium??

I ideally want to buy a hot horse shower and have the solarium for drying them off aftr exercise etc. just a bit of luxury really!!!

Does anyone have one?? What are the pro's and cons etc etc!!

Any info is greatfully recieved!!!

I have a Kylix solarium......save your money and just get some patio infa-red lights, will cost about £100 - £150, instead of £1,800. Will work just as well.

We have hot water in the wash room, just got a unit that heats the water as it passes through.

We charge £1 for 30 mins for solarium, and £1.50 for hot water for 30 mins (they get 2 tokens at 15 mins each).
