Had my box on/ off for sale for abit now due to various reasons. Tried to sell it in Nov/ Dec but people were offering me £1000- £2500 maximum from an ebay classified add. Decided to keep it, although I wasn't using it. Put it back up for sale beginning of Feb and finally sold it for just under £3500 Relieved as I'm doing a PGCE and obviously have no income so it's a weight off my neck knowing I don't have to pay for insurance etc. Also most people seemed to have less money to buy or a lot more money.
Your story is very similar to mine. Picked up a project trailer a couple of days ago and having lots of fun taking it apart at the moment
