My horse's stable has a sliding door with full height bars which means all the can see is the wall opposite him. Other people at the yard have webbing stall guards but I'm worried he might get his leg stuck in it during the night.

The only solid one I can find is the john whitaker one and I don't want to pay over the odds for something becaue of the name! http://www.horseheavensaddlery.co.uk/pro...et=#prod_anchor

Maybe I'm paranoid but I'm sure they could still get a leg stuck in this type http://www.trot2.com/nylon-stall-guard.ir?cName=for-the-yard-stable-and-field-stable&src=froogle

Any suggestions?

I would never leave a horse wth just a stall guard overnight! the door should be shut! Stall guards are fine for during the day when you / other people are around the yard...
