Solihull BD 8th Feb

Have done 4 BD outings now with my chap- been 2 Swallowfields and Moreton Morrell so far and been 6th, 6th, 3rd and 1st in Prelim Restricted.

Just wondering what Solihull is like in terms of affiliated??! Been to lots of unaffiliated and always big names (mostly eventers) wiping the board (would hate to accuse of pot hunting- but I will !!).

I want to do the warm up prelim but it only has an Open section (which I hate) and scared that will be all professionals and then me as its mid week!! Not too scared about 2nd test as restricted but wondered if anyone is a regular (and amateur!!)

Well done you! Have not been to Solihull for while (no suitable horse at mo

) But when i did go - there were some good people there mid week. But sounds like you can go with a good chance of being in the top 3 - so go for it!

solihull dressage mid week is good standard so ive heard not big on dressage myself thow x

Last time I went the standard was average and the classes were quite small, you shouldn't get too many pro's in the prelim anyway.

Ditto TOG. I went there a while ago midweek, small classes, a few professionals in the opens, restricted standard pretty average.
