Well last weekend I decided to withdraw from the 90 and enter the Novice having never jumped a 1.10 on Herbie but he's a hero so it was all ok.
He went into the ring with his eyes on stalks but popped round the 100 sweetly finding it all abit small, and we did what felt ridiculously fast round the XC part and came home inside the time, double clear with a style penalty of 8. We came 5th and qualified.
Onto the Novice and he warmed up fantastic, really pinging he is just so much better over a bigger fence. He jumped round like a pro even when I nearly buried him in an oxer, went round the XC really smooth, came home with 3 time penalties but full of confidence so I was beaming Double clear in our first 1.10 with a style score of 9 and we came 6th
So our first JAS experience was an enjoyable one and we will be doing the next one at Solihull
He really is my perfect horse and a complete hero to me. Love him so much
And my mascot on the way home with me, she makes my day
