first ever ODE so was rather nervous when we got there
warmed up for dressage and she warmed up okish. got in the ring and she was dreadful! she wouldnt bend she kept trying to canter she wasnt paying attention she was just being a nightmare!!
very dissapointed as when we had done it the night before she went lovely
got a score of 47!
so wasnt very happy but not really surprised as it was probably the worst test we have ever done
onto the SJ and she round round really nicely. i`d changed her bit and the difference was amazing she was actually listening to me
we got a clear round so was pleased
walked the xc and thought it was a nice course although there were a couple of jumps i didnt like
anyway she FLEW round all of them didnt even look at any of them. gave me a fantastic ride
we were one of the only ones to go clear as loads of people were getting elimatnated or getting lots of faults mainly at the water
went to look at the scoreboards and i was lying 3rd!!
but not all of the times were up and our dressage had let us down so knew i`d probably go down a couple
anyway ended up being 6th
would have been placed a lot higher if our dressage had been better but was really chuffed
