Has anyone used their arenas - particulary the outside one? What were the surfaces like? Thanks

I watched the BE event at their XC place the other day.
The outside was for SJ.
I didnt ride it, or walk the course.
But seemed to ride fine - friend was happy with a clear round!
Looked like sand mixed with the insides of an old sofa!
Rode well for shod and unshod horses.

i am a member and have ridden many times in that outdoor arena. last yr it was c**p but this yr they have put gell in it - its the best srena ive ever ridden in! its surface is so bouncy but flat. i always get clear rounds in there and they've now got a new entrance to it. give it a go - its lovely

GEL? confused - have they chaned the surface or added something to it?

they've added this gel stuff - you cant see it but its instead of watering it more often and it also makes it alot bouncyer (sp)
