How often do you find the need to replace your solo comb blades?
I bought one this wk, as 2 of my horses aren't in work at the moment, so felt a bit cruel pulling their manes, and thought it would be a good investment, I only did one horse today, and the blades don't seem to want to cut any more, I was planning on doing all 3 of them....
Do the blades really blunt this fast, because i'll be going back to a good old pulling comb now!!

I'm a new convert to solo combing! But also a little disappointed with how quickly they loose their sharpness, I've managed however to do about 4 or 5 horses and on the last one they started to snag etc. so looking to replace blades now. I've got the solo comb 3 I think. I suppose it depends on the amount of mane and type of mane as to how long they last, the horses I did are tb/warmblood types, one with a bushy mane (done that one about 3 times), one with a very thin mane (done about twice?).
