Poor horse has been off ill since September with various problems, looked like she might be getting the all clear and then promptly went lame on Boxing Day. Hasnt been sound since anc we cant find out for definite why - vets now think she may have laminitis in both front feet so she confined to barracks and on serious diet.

Got new horse, only had her 6 weeks and found last night she had impaled herself on something and has horrible big gash in her chest. Vet was there sewing her back together til 1am and she not a happy camper this morning.

Please send us all some positive vibes - I'm feeling a bit low with it all now.

Vet just called to say she coming to look at new horsey later on, as long as she doesnt swell up horribly then she can stay at home and not have to go in to the hospital. Fingers crossed.

Not yet, but it was something wooden as there was bits of wood being pulled out of there last night. Was too dark to check field this morning so will do when I go back shortly. Am expecting to find some wood of some sort with bits of horse stuck to it. Just going to bulk buy the carrots to encourage her to eat.
