Well just a few more questions..... this is for local shows...

Do I really need to wear a tweed jacket or will my black one be ok? Also what colour tie and short etc.
Also what type of trousers are ok? Could I wear my black jogging bottom type things/black jeans? Or should I wear something more formal?
Depending on what jacket I wear what colour hat cover should I wear (will be using my hard hat just incase lol)
How should I do my hair? Hairnet or will a bun and net? :)

Last thread it was suggested i'd need to trim her what and how etc? Although to be honest i'm thinking of plaiting but not worrying too much about trimming as it's winter. This brings me to my next question I assume you don't plait the tail lol.

Also any tips of sticking out from the crowd.... :)

I took her for a walk yesterday and we had our first trot on the lead, she found it abit exciting :)
She also played a game of chase the chicken today :p

Thanks :)
Oh knew i'd forget something any tips of getting her clean ie good shampoo or any wipes etc ;)

Okay:
yes you must wear tweed as its correct
smart 'work trousers' (dark) as she has white legs NO jogging bottoms or jeans.
A navy cover is correct i think..
HAIRNET
Cob type i think so dont do tail.. Looks like a youngster so don't plait in my opinion.

Sticking out from the crowd... Have a well behaved horse and be as smart as possible..

Keeping clean.. GALLOP white shampoo and keep in if possible night before?

Oh yeah sorry she is irish sport horse cross and about 7 months old, so you wouldn't plait her mane? :)
So will a grey tweed type jacket with nave collar be ok (if I can find it) although it was alittle short in the sleeve lol :)

I'm worried about washing her at this time of year as am hoping to leave her unrugged but obviously washing will take out her natural protection, although when field gets worse they will be in at night :)

I wouldn't bath this time of year, maybe wash her legs that all. Best tip is brush out all the dry mud then the night before hot towel her. I have a soft baby blanket I use but any towel will do. Use water as hot as you can bear with a good splash of white vinegar. Wring it out as much as possible then go over her coat. It lifts all the dust out. Also a travel rug (or similar) the morning of the show will help flatten her coat.

Forgot to ask, she hasn't had her jabs yet would you put off taking her out til after they are done and does anyone know how far apart they get done at the start? :)

The best way to stand out is to look professional so tweed is a must, Navy trousers chino's style works well (black is never correct for showing), a pastel coloured shirt (pale blue or cream) with a tie that compliments your jacket, Navy velvet riding hat, Hair in a bun and hairnet (NO SCRUNCHIES) :D She should be plaited as she is a partbred.

Ah ok darn was hoping to not need to plait :(
I was actually thinking of wearing dark blue trousers anyway to match my hat silk lol :)
I can put my hair in a bun using a net type thing, colours are white or pink or light blue or black, would the light blue or balck be best? :)

Do you think she'll be ready for this weekend? She does lead ok when she wants to go  think shes got a stubborn streak. We have only had couple of trots so far though. She also has not been plaited or travelled in my trailer yet, came in breeders lorry. :)
Show this weekend has two classes in a row instead of classes inbetween etc.
Wondering whether to travel her perhaps without partition but cross tie her so used to facing forward then I can use trailer as a sort of mobile stable for any waiting time etc. :)
