I went up to see Troy yesterday at stud... he is so happy, and couldn't care less that his Mum is no longer with him

He was also not particularly interested in human company, which is such a lovely thing because when he went he was so into people that it was too much. Now he has friends who are his age, and it is great watching them all play together!

He is almost 7 months now (on 12th October) and is in a 5'3" rug that is getting a bit snug on him, so I have taken a 5'9" MW one up for him for the winter months

Ooooo... I recognise you, but I'm going to ignore you because you ignored me last time you came to take my Mum

Go on then... give me some kisses and we'll make up! - Oh, and meet my new best friend too!

Thanks Tia an nomini... it just went so easily. I would definitely recommend that way of weaning to people with just one mare and foal. It is the best thing I ever did, and they were both so chilled out about the whole experience. I couldn't have hoped for anything more!

Ah he looks just as happy as larry doens't he??

Was only wondering about him the other day. So glad that he's a happy boy.

He is pretty chunky... I think he is going to be quite like Grace in his build. He is less chunky than his Mum, which is what I wanted although I love my Hannah to pieces
