So I haven't done report for a while,for the reason that I haven't been to a show!
The reason for that is,incredibly,I have sold my stallion,Amaretto. My lovely, lovely boy is now going to be a future 'Kentucky candidate' for some lucky rider in America.
It has been an exciting time, having such a top horse and I've ridden classes beyond my expectations, but,as we bought him as a yearling to sell,it would have been unrealistic to let this 'train leave the station'!
I packed my gorgeous lad off on thursday with his suitcase full of teddy bears and polos and spent the rest of the day blubbing, as you can imagine!!!
So,now, with having just 1 chap to jump in the big classes now I was a little unenthusiastic to go to csi** herselt this weekend...
But,the 'pocket rocket' my little Manneken cheered me up,egged me on and pulled me out of the dumps by doing what he does best...jumping everything in front of him. Blessss

Yesterday,in a mega competitive grand prix,he was an amazing 6th behind Daniel Deuser!!!!
Thank you pony XXXXX
(Vid on you tube under Manneken du Coty)
So now off to go shopping for a few more yearlings

That must have been a wrench to sell him when you were doing so much and so well on him, but at least Manneken reminded you of who is now top dog in your yard!

Oh WOW, cannot believe you have sold him, but totally understand why! Fact is, whenever you see his name in the results you can smugly say to yourself "I made him"
