Alrighty then...........

Here are some pics of my life with horses............ be warned there are going to be a few! lol.........

This is one of the earliest pics of me with a horse - my parents werent huge photo takers back then......
My grandpa gave me this pony when she was born - the day before my little brother was born when I was 2 yrs old......
This is Libra Lass.... a lovely little welsh pony by Chocolate Soldier.

This shot is of me and Libby (on the right) and Jojo - Libby was 21 in this shot.....

Me and Raalta Joshua (Norwegian Fjord) and Oliver Twist (orphaned Shettie x Mini Appy)

A lovely QH x Percheron mare that I had for a while, Chelsea Brown - her first ODE ever... she did really well - it was stupid here who got us eliminated in the showjumping! DOH!

Me and Black Majick - a stock horse gelding I had for a couple of years
smile.gif

Me and Louisville Gold (Ice) who I had for a while too - a lovely 17hh TB gelding.....

Next pic: Ice and his little friend - Oliver Twist - growing up!!!

This is me and Jojo - he was 21 yrs old here, and had been pulled out of the paddock the day before and given a bath after being retired for 12 months and not had a thing done with him in that time.....(other than being evicted from my aunties place where he was keeping her retired pony company cos he taught her pony how to chase cows, get out under the electric fence, and raid the vege garden! lol) hehehe.... we went to a show and he got two first for two classes that he went in.

Then Jojo came out of retirement for good, and got back into work.... this pic was taken at his 25th birthday party - where he had a carrot cake and all.... (the rest of us had a BBQ - he had all the kids who were learning on him at the time come for a party, and a few extras too.....

And me on him in the round yard:

Me and Joshy... the Fjord.....

Me and Astra - the dam of my first CBSH filly, Ariella - this was one of the two or three times I got on Astra - she couldnt be ridden due to an old injury, but was ok to have a sit on every now and then....

Me and Ariella - the morning after she was born
smile.gif

Me and Ariella again:

And at a show - no she didnt win all those ribbons - I pinched a mates for a photo! lol....

She used to get the poops with Craig if he held her leg up to trim her feet, so would lay down... .that was fine, easier on his back! lol.... this was after she had two feet one, and was in the process of being flipped over to do the other side - she used to just lay there and take it, then refuse to get up - so we would just leave her there til she was ready! lol....

Me and one of our boss's TB mares who had finished racing and we were working and selling for him - beautiful mare..... took her to a show and she did really well
smile.gif

Me and Oliver Twist (YES it is the same pony!!!) at the Whyalla Show years ago - his first show in harness - actually, his only show in harness - it was a full sized trotting harness that I cut down to fit him and the red bits are taped up with electrical tape - god that was sooooooooooooooo classy..... lol

Me on Dufus MacTruck practicing our campdrafting....
He was freshly broken in - he was so easy to break as well!
smile.gif
Craig and I had lots of fun doing his training - he had a specially made bridle and halter that Craig had to make up because he was too big for anything we could buy! lol

Wow this one goes back a few years!!! lol.... I was 16 I think..... or 17... cant remember.... me and Arabique - a Clyde x Arab x TB gelding.....

Me and Little Fella - the last horse my grandpa bred, a Clyde x TB gelding, was 8 yrs old in this pic, and this was his first ride - I was breaking him in at the time - he had to be put down very shortly after this pic
frown.gif

Me and Opal - a CB x TB mare I had on lease and sent back because she was costing me too much in vet bills - the most accident prone mare I have ever met!!!!! I had the option of buying her, and opted NOT to becuase she was a walking accident.... the vets loved me.... lol

This is me and Fletch with my dear friend Wendy..... Fletch's racing name was "Woolpresser" - poor bugger getting lumbered with that name!!! lol

And this is quite possibly one of my favourite photos of me and a horse.............

Me and Reisling at our wedding....

Me and our big stallion Tobi
