I was talking to my Vet earlier today and she told me that she had been called out to a badly injured horse on a road a few days ago. She was trying to assess the horse when a driver got out of his car and demanded that they got out of the way and moved the horse or he would run them over. Her Vet nurse said that she would call the Police if he tried it. There was another route past the accident, but the man said that he didn't want to use it because he didn't want to get his car muddy.

I am still shocked by this.

Sorry - I forgot to ask if the horse was OK.

That's so selfish. A few weeks ago at the yard down the road a young teen fell off in the arena. The type of fall where you don't move them till an ambulance has been. One of the adult liveries was moaning she needed to use the arena, & could they just go wait elsewhere for the paramedics.

Nothing surprises me anymore.

When I fell of in the lanes and broke my back, horse had buggered of. I was lieing in the lane in pain, in fact I was screaming out loud as it hurt so much and the 1st car that came by me actually never stopped and just made sure he could squeeze through and carried on.

The general public in my eyes are arse holes

I used to work as a manager with a big supermarket. One day an old man dropped dead in the meat aisle (theres a joke there somewhere...) we closed the aisle while waiting for an ambuilance to come and take him away. His wife was there and it was really horrible. I had to physically stop an irate woman 'Who just wanted some mince, and was in a hurry' from stepping over his body. The number of people who moaned about being inconvenienced.
Humans are not nice. NOA as Pedantic would say.

Oh golly - that is so awful.

ETA. I agree with you Nah.

Clodagh - another impatient **** with no compassion.

When I fell off my bike yesterday morning, the bike slid into the middle of the road whilst I was laid there, winded....and a white van just drove around us....

Maybe because he saw I was breathing he must have guessed I was alive. :p

I stopped my car before to help a cyclist, put the hazards on to tell other motorists I had stopped and to avoid the cyclist getting squashed.....

Some people are tw*ts....but not all.

People never fail to disappoint me.....in this case I'd of star fished him out in the middle of the road! Moron!

When I crashed my car into a small ditch (tried reversing but it couldn't get out) I put my hi viz on and tried to wave people down to help me, everyone drove past. It got to the point where I was just crying stood next to my car but a man in a van stopped and pulled me out, he told me he owned a garage and that my car was fine and I could drive it. So I found one nice person out of about 20 who drove past!

Some people are just horrible individuals.
A few summers ago i was sitting in my garden and heard the most awful scream, the type of scream you know is really bad, i took of running towards it and met another mum hurrying along the street, one of her sons, aged about 7 had come in from walking the dog screaming and distraught without his brother who was a year older, while walking their friend who was on holidays dog, while still on the lead,( ordinary lead ) it had bounced into the road and been hit by a car, the child was distraught and his brother was sitting in shock. next to this beautiful white german shepherd who was bleeding out, with this pr1ck of a man screaming at him about who was going to pay for the damage to his car !!
There wasnt a freaking mark on his car.
I asked the mum to take the boys home and i stayed with the dog which was actively dying in a pool of blood, with this **** still ranting.
My face mustve said it all because my tone became very low and i quietly told him this was neither the time nor the place, if he wanted he could phone the police, but if he didnt get off the back of these kids i was going to punch him and to shut the feck up. He then jumped i to his car and left without a bye or leave, i dont know if he was also in shock, but he was beyond cruel to these kids that day

This made me cry :( I would of punched him in the face anyway. This is also why I prefer animals to humans and have very few friends as good/unselfish people are few and far between :(
