I know that almost everyone on H&H is a fan of Shetlands, so here's a bit of sweetness to brighten up your days: Flower and her littlest friend, Bernard! He's nearing 30 and she's not even three, but they get on like a house on fire regardless.

Chip just loves everyone

Chip and Fat Cob sharing hay despite there being umpteen piles of hay to have plenty of their own


The day before when it was sunny Chip and Neurotic TB were napping cuddled in together. I missed the cuteness but managed this before my phone battery died. They all had a lot of fun rolling together prior to this too ??

Thank you very much! That makes me smile a lot. But i must admit he is not a shetland, hes mostly american miniature horse lol (thus he is probably very fat looking! lol)

I don’t have a photo to share but my Shetland used to charge up the lorry ramp as soon as I dropped it to interview whichever equine was returning from an event. He once wedged himself between the front legs of my Dales before I could unload him and I had to get help to remove the partition to free them both. What wonderful characters they are.

My 2 having a snooze after breaking into the rested paddock last spring - had obviously stuffed themselves.

And then just some cute ones from the snow last year. Teddy is a standard Shetland, 12yr old, from the blue cross.


And Daisy is some sort of mini, she's about 35yrs old. She was basically gifted to me when I first moved into the property.
