I have been thinking about having some sort of boot/locker etc put on the front of my trailer and wondered if:
a) it was possible
b) how to go about it
c) has anyone done it
d) are there any pitfalls/legality issues

It is to put things like a skip bucket, water bucket etc in nothing of value.

My Rice Beaufort has an external tack locker which was factory fitted so perfectly legal but I've never seen one on any other brand of trailer. Ifor do a tack locker (on wheels I think) for inside the trailer.

Well, I've never actually seen one, but I know that you can get tack lockers mounted on the inside of the jockey door; so in theory it's probably possible. To be honest, you might be better off dropping the company that built your trailer a line and seeing what the professionals think about the subject.

Thank you guys, I might see if I can get a look at the rice ones - I have a Mare and Foal Cheval Liberte and it isn't big enough inside for the Ifor one. Good idea about getting in touch with the manufacturer!
