That you were your horse?

Mine currently has a big straw bed, a haylage pile bigger than he is, huge warm coat and I've even caved and put a rug on him [A COB...god, I've turned pet owner]. No worries. No stress over anything.

I sure wouldn't mind swapping.

Sigh.

It's been one of them days..if you couldn't tell!

Think that everytime i go work :)

I don't think even my lovely hubbie would stretch to that - he's just brought me pizza and beer, so I think the world of him anyway ;)

As for the pony well......fleece snuggy hood, medium weight rug, had a walk out with the dogs to stretch his legs (didn't ride today), the yard are currently munching their way thru a bag of carrots belonging to him (WHY do they have to do such HUGE sizes ?), he's had his feet trimmed this week, his topspec, oh and (ahem) - four slices of hay tonight (blush).

Ha, I am glad it's not just me then!!!

Today has just been uphill, and I've not even got to ride. Which is why I'm probably in a ****** mood tbf!

I never thought I'd be glad for the pick-up to not be around tomorrow....means I can hop on the horse instead to go up the barn again. Nothing better than a proper good bareback gallop to turn your mood round!

Knowing my luck, I'd end up being my eldest horse as we're probably most similar....Scarred up, clumsy as hell and not really a people person!

Goldenstar, i don't think they "do the poop thing" in care homes - do they ;)

ps, hubs put an extra slice on the floor of his stable - he's just admitted it. What a bloody softie !

Bless him lol!! My parents used to be like when I lived back home whenever they were down the yard.... Adamant they're not horsey, but then end up spoiling them so much when they're given the chance to! :p

Regards to the care home...I suppose it depends lol!!!

I wish I was my horse, works part time, has time to admire the view, has a mug breaking her back mucking out, bringing albeit limited hay and not nearly as many treats, scratches hard to reach places, gets rid of muddy legs, knows he's loved and allowed to be covered in mud and to be a horse.
Downside would be fighting through the mud daily, hang on, I do that as well
