Someone Buy Me This (Or for anyone looking for a nice dressage horse)

I spotted this last night and it brought a slight lump to my throat:-

This is a horse i tried a few years ago before we bought Jack and i completly fell in love with her. Sadly, at 15.3hh, she was just too small for me. Shes been at the same yard and in training with the same rider since she was very young (she actually belonged to an ex member on here but stayed ridden by the pro trainer mentioned in the ad).

Shes been knocking around the BYRDs scene for four years or so and shes a really lovely mare.

Id like to stress shes NOTHING to do with me at all and i havent seen her for a year; theres nothing in this for me. I just know she's a lovely competition horse, particularly for a competitive teenager. Made me a bit sad to see her for sale tbh.

Anyone have a spare lump of cash so she can come live with me anyway? :P
 
She does sound very nice. Gorgeous looking.

But I'm a bit confused as to how you can outgrow a 15.3 though seeing as you have/had the likes of William FP with Tam and Mark Todd and Charisma competing at the very very top level. It seems a shame that people are willing to part with horses for what seems to me to be a very weak reason.
 
She IS small, Id say that 15.3hh is a generous guess of her size and shes not deep through her barrel to take up your leg well.

Last time i saw her rider, she had shot up in height and im betting shes going to end up around my height (im 5ft 11). While im sure horsey will take her weight as theres nothing to the rider at all, having your legs dangle below the girth line always makes me very self conscious and you can see from that photo (which was summer last year) that her leg is very close if not a bit below

Ive no idea if theyve bought her something else as ive been out of that whole yard grapevine for a while but the young girl adored her. I dont know if theyre looking for something with more potential. This mare has beautiful correct paces but not flashy huge GP paces.

Already mentioned it to my OH but hes not willing to pay the asking price for a horse that i felt self conscious on 4 years ago

Tbh, thats sensible but i still wish she could come and live with me!

I feel somewhat self conscious on my 16.1 otherwise id be shipping this little mare over to live with me because she really is the sweetest little horse and shes so talented as well. She'd be fabulous for a teenager.
 
His feet would be dragging on a 15.2 then

I hate being as tall as i am. Even though the weight issue wouldnt be one with this mare, id just look odd
