Awwww - he so reminds me of Sweep as a puppy!!

I should just say that Sweep is stretched out in the same postion on 'his' sofa......

He is very like Sweep, I agree, I'm assuming his markings will be more like Henry's when he's finished growing (and darkening).

Even my mother in law says he looks like "sweep". I feel ashamed to say I'd never noticed Sweep was a Spaniel before! (Sweep from Sooty and Sweep...not your St Sweep).

I really must try and scan the puppy pictures of Sweep

- his markings were almost identical to Harvey with the freckles over his nose and the grey body - exactly why i called him Sweep. Black head and ears and grey body - not expecting him to get darker!!

He is almost black all over when his coat has grown and the black patch on his bum disappears!! The only thing that has got lighter as he has got older is his little face and ears

- they are a dignified grey now!!

Still acts like a puppy though

.....he manged to nick a tin of cat food today and eat so many hoof trimmings yesterday he was sick......*sigh*

Yes, he is a show "airhead" Cocker. I prefer their head and the fact you tend to get more varied colours in the show line. I didn't want another black, not because I don't like them obviously, but because I didn't want to replace our old deceased black cocker with an identical model.
