Someone is going to get a right bargain

Last time I looked at such ponies for sale one like him with his breeding would be £3-4k!

My mum won a silver colt foal in an American raffle a few years ago. We left him in America as it would have cost £4k to import him and yes we could have sold him for 3x that because of his colour and breeding but we didnt think he would like Scotland overly much after being norn in Florida! He was gelded and is now one of the flagship ponies fir Personal Ponies who kindly agreed to keep him for us. There was hell getting him gelded though! Because of his colour and bloodlines he was highly saught after. There were death threats made, attempted thefts and more money than all of America together put forward to save this pony from the dreaded fate of being gelded! It was done in secret and the pony moved to a different State before people noticed. He is a lively, happy gelding with no stress of mares. He can enjoy his stunning good looks!

Your mum won a horse in a RAFFLE?

I thought things like that only happened in films, e.g National Velvet.

I want to win a horse. :( :D

Yup in America you can, or could 5 years ago, win an animal in a raffle. It was a raffle on Mare Stare for the mare and the foal seperately. Tickets were $10 each and my mum bought one ticket as it was for charity, other people bout thousands of dollars worth of tickets to get this colt. We also got to name him so we called him Prince Of Theives lol!
