Long story but I eventually decided to put my beautiful mare up for sale (she is 5 with the world at her feet, I am pregnant and don't want to compete or do much more than hacking anymore etc - long story and se previous posts!). I have owned her for 3 years, had a couple of scrapes but nothing major - I panic like mad though!
First girl who came to see her wanted her and she was the perfect match so happy with that. Now I am terrified of the vetting tomorrow! I had her vetted when I brought her - no issues, and have her back and teeth checked every 6 months. I had a problem with her teeth causing her pain earlier this year and a misdiadgnosis but thats all fine now - she needed wolf tooth removed.
It's not even that I am worried about losing the sale, though I really like the woman who wants her and think they will be perfect for each other, it is more is more that I just keep having nightmares that the vet will say something terrible is wrong that I have no idea about! Is this normal?
Also how many horses actually have nothing at all wrong? Is it common for vet to point out minor flaws i.e. in conformation but say fine for xxx use?
Thanks for helping my neurotic brain!
