Someone tell me buying a colt is a bad idea.

Buy it

He's a real cutie. You have the money to buy him but do you have the resources to take good care of him? (I presume so or I doubt you'd consider buying him

). If you could buy him, care for him and love him then why not!

i could.... i could cuddle him and love him, he could live with my other ponies... he is super cute!!!

Im in lurvvee with him, but i think im just collecting coloured ponies haha, how big do you think he'll get?

Hi, I agree with the previous post thats its only a good idea IF you have the time and the resources to look after him or more to the point.... keep him somewhere safe. We have huge issues with our 18 month colt at the moment. He will jump 5' fences, he will go through mains electric fences as if they are just not there. Trouble is he takes whoever he is out with, with him!!! Bearing in mind he is only 13 hands. Our last colts were exactly the same and even after gelding it took at least 6 weeks for the testosterone to go out of the system and they STILL thought they could service the entire parish.
I am not saying its a bad idea, just think very carefully about a colt and dont buy on a whim.

yeah i have the resources to keep him, altough him in with houdini could be an absolute nightmare.

anyone have a guess how big he'd get? im trying to justify who would ride him when hes old enough lol

Ohhh what a beauty!!!!!

If OH questions it just ask him what he's on about?
It's quite clear you have had little Tinklebum for the past 3months...
and then suggest he's going mad and to book a doctors appointment LMAO.
