Someone to ride with

Wondering if anyone is based in Newbury, Berks..?
I am stuck riding out at the moment on my own and although I dont really mind, my youngster I feel could do with another horse to help him keep cool and relaxed.
My hubby at the moment is having to accompany me ever time I go out as my horse seems to get quite upset. Once he sees some other horses he fidgets around and tries to get over to where they are. He also calls.
With my hubby around he seems alot cooler and is just himself.
I do have an old pony which I was going to take out with me too, but trying to handle a 4 year old and hold a little pony who at times can be quiet naughty herself is not great really.
I could really do with riding out with someone and just wondered if anyone lived around where I ride..?

This is prob no help at all... I've got the same prob in that I keep my horse at home & his one vice is sudden spookiness out hacking. My other horse is 34 & not up to hubby's weight. Anyway last year hubby acquired a mountain bike & now accompanies me everywhere. The horse will follow along happily behind & will take a lead from it the way he would another horse. Eg went past a field of galloping donkeys & normally he'd have gone mental but cos the bike went past, he just followed it. And it's not doing o/h's waistline any harm either!!! Plus people seem to slow down better for horse / bike combo (both in fluorescents) whereas if it's just me, they tend to blast past. Plus it's nice doing something together & getting some fresh air & exercise together.
