Hi does anyone know of the above? Have a problem with my ramp which needs fixing. I'm based in Kirkham Lancs so anywhere near there would be good. Does anyone know of someone who does this type of work, who isn't overpriced and does a good job? Thanks

what exactly is the problem with the ramp?
i am by kirkham and my husbands company (engineering) are going to be fixing my ramp up, they are only in Poulton so depending on whats up with it, they ,ay also be able to fix yours :)

This happenned to mine, the evening before I had viewers as it was for sale. I took it to the original builder out of desperation but I knew he wasnt cheap but felt I had no choice. It wasnt the springs, as everyone kept telling me, it was the brackets that attached the ramp to the box. They could only be seen when the ramp is down and as the wagon was quite new, I hadnt given it a thought to lubricate them. One of them had completely seized, probably due to lack of use over the winter. They pretty much swang off the ramp to open it, lubricating it each time it moved a few inches. The bracket snapped and had to be replaced. It cost me £40 :) and a grovelling bottle of Whiskey :D It was repaired by 11.30am, viewer came at 12.30pm and bought it.
