Hi Peeps,

Is it via Salisbury, or best to come off the M4 down past Newbury that way?? Coming from Herefordshire... Looked at the map and auto route and really cant make up my mind....
Oooh decisions decisions!!

Hello! I know the area really well as I live in Bournemouth. It depends where you are coming from.

If you are coming from M3 direction take the M27 toward Ringwood and Bournemouth. Continue to the A31 until you hit Ringwood. Then go past the Texaco petrol station and take the sliproad signposted Verwood. Go under the motorway and continue round the bend for about half a mile.

One entrance is on the next bend by the Gatehouse on the right.

If you are coming from Salisbury way go down the A338 toward Ringwood and then take the A31 towards Ferndown and follow the above instructions from the petrol station.

Hope this helps

Hiya

From Swindon way you can go M4, but it really is the long route! Besides which I am not sure if there are still roadoworks on the A34.

I would go through Marlborough and to Salisbury and from Salisbury the A338 to Ringwood- make sure you turn off toward Verwood and Alderholt for Somerley though, after the Petrol Station. The A338 continues to Bournemouth and the roadworks mean it is down to one lane, so you do not want to go too far.

When we go to West Wilts that is the way we go.

Hope this helps.
