who does your horses backs? I know that my vets physio is miles away and charges mileage to come as far as us. My usual lady is off having a baby (can't quite remember due date but know its soon!) and I wasn't sure that Frank was 100% right on sunday as he kept landing on the wrong leg. He does have a bit of a niggly pelvis issue which presents like this and just needs a helping hand a bit of jiggling and massage normally sort him out. We also had a few antics last night which I suspect haven't helped. am going to work him for the next few days and see how he is but could do with some names anyway as I am sure he is going to need seeing to before she is back.

Many thanks

hi , i use Helen Jacks, who's based in Somerset. i think she's very good & quite reasonable price.

she has got a website fi you want to have a look.

hope it helps.

I use Helen Jacks Hewitt. She is a Mctimony (sp?) practisioner and in the three sessions she has done on my horse she has done a very good job. My girl has a few areas which need attention each time, related to compensation in movement for arthritic hock, and i can always see a marked improvement after treatment. She is very thorough and explains what shes doing as she goes and leaves you with an "aftercare plan".
Will PM you her number if you want.

I know a few people who have used a lady called Kazia Jawdoszak who is apparently very nice, I think she is a district representative for the BHS too(?) so think her number is on their website (I can get it for you if you can't find it, just let me know and I will PM you). I haven't used her myself as have only just got my new horse and he was checked in April, but would like to know how you get on with whoever you use as will routinely get my boys back done in a couple of months, so always useful to have a few contacts!
