Something fishy going on !

I have a horse and small pony. The pony is 20 yrs and his urine smells strongly of fish oil and has done for some time. I'm sure it's not in anything he eats as both horses have the same food. Does anyone know if this smell is symptomatic of anything that I should know of ?

In a human it would indicate infection. Perhaps get a urine sample and take it in to your vets.

I'd get him the ACTH test for Cushings. Betcha it's positive.
