Something Positive coming from horror

I was just going to post that, isn't it wonderful amidst this devastation

Along the lines of something positive coming out of this dreadful event, if it does act as something of a wake up call, it can only be to the good. I am wondering whether there are slight signs of people beginning to take animal welfare more seriously in the long term; Jamie Oliver and Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall's current campaign against battery farmed chickens and eggs for instance, being brave enough to show the public what it's really like.

I was amazed the other night when I was in the co-op when the lad who served me actually asked what the gammon I was buying was! There is a lot of ignorance out there and if these horses help to raise awareness and lead to other horses and indeed any animal being spared this misery, then some good may come out of it.

Isn't it wonderful. Lucky to have waited till after the rescue. The rescue places are doing a fantastic job.

It is great to see that the board members are doing so much too.
