so what is a thing that you couldn't live without? (apart from obvious things!)
for you, for your horse, for the yard etc..

im interested to see what things people say.
personally i love my horses magnetic therapy sport boots, they are used daily for numerous things.. and mane and tail conditioner!
 
Right now my Toggi Heritage Boots and my Oster rubber brush thingy, I cant get near Samba with a plastic or normal rubber one or a dandy brush....shes soooo precious. one of these http://www.trackright.co.uk/acatalog/osterfacecurrysmall.jpg

Oh and Camrosa, if in doubt whack a bit on horse, dog, human, chicken......

i love my hay feeeder that my bloke made for me. take one water butt with tight fitting lid. cut holes in the side and use very very strong and very very water proof tape to round off edges of holes . stick in the field and put some small rocks in the base to stabilise...... Amazing. also love my mounting block which was made for me by my carpenter friend ...very very posh. I couldnt live without my aussie stock saddle.... and i would be right p%££@d off if my bloke wasnt around!
 
For me at home it's my PC and my access to the internet/message boards. I live in the middle of nowhere and haven't met a lot of people so it's my lifeline and my contact with friends/rellies.

For me at the yard it's got to be my Muck boots... my hands and feet get cold in October and don't thaw until around April so they keep my feet toasty all winter.

For the horses, at the moment it's my box made from pallets that I put the haylage into for them to eat. Stops a LOT of wastage and is good and sturdy, but best of all it was FREE :D
 
Baby oil, it's good for manes and tails, legs, stopping clumpy thick fur around their girth area, stopping his muddy armpits which i have no idea how he gets them so muddy. And it's good for making shiny faces.

I also use it all over on me throughout winter, as my skin gets so dry and itchy.

And baby wipes. Have only recently started using them, but they're great for gummy eyes, snotty noses, muddy patches in a hurry, sweaty bits in a hurry, cleaning bums, wiping small cuts clean, mucky white stripes on faces, etcetc.

Again, i use them on my face too, they don't dry out my skin as much as cleansers.
 
Sudacreme use it on my horse, excellent for cracked heels, wounds, dry skin, sore bits and on myself dry hands, spots - you name it !!!

Oh and my mounting block at the yard for getting on the big boys and girls as I am hopeless at leg ups!:D

oh i was going to say sudocreme but you have beaten me to it! i call it magic cream as it works so well on all manner of things, horsey and human.......& also vaseline- my lips just crack without it!
 
You've all said my essentials so far, baby oil, sudocreme, giant wheelbarrow, ariat grasmere boots....so I guess, I'll say, my thermatex and the Bucas rugs that can be put on a wet horse. No hanging around waiting for wet horses to dry off before going home to a warm cosy sitting room.
 
My Road Whip- a lunge whip with the lash cut off to stick out when riding on the road to keep the lunatic drivers at bay. I can't go out without it now! Oh and my hunting whip when riding in the woods to keep the moronic owners' loose dogs at bay..
