My daughter has lessons at a very nice local school, the ponies are well looked after etc etc. However, today the pony she was riding girth was a tight as it could get on both side and it was still loose. I asked one of the members of staff if she could possibly get a shorter girth. She want and asked the yard manager who sent her back with the response "the one the pony has will do" .
I went into orbit, after I had chewed the stable girl's head off, a smaller girth appeared but I was absolutely furious. I wish sometimes I was non-horsey and then I wouldn't know any better. Ignorance is bliss and all that!
