Can I please just thank the below members for their sound advice when they received a panicked PM in the early hours of Friday morning regarding which option to take with my horses newly diagnosed Ring Bone it was a great help and really helped clarify things. Thank you for taking the time to give a reasoned and well thought response to an effective stranger on the internet.

I have posted a thread about the outcome here;

Glad things are getting sorted out Chavhorse. But I agree about H&HO, normally if you have a problem there is someone sensible on here, that has been there before, who is kind enough to point you in the right direction.

There are so many people with such diverse backgrounds/horses/experiences that you are right, it is a tremendous resource (and we forgive some of the trolls, because, they seem to be just a necessary evil!).

Aye'up m'duck, you're more than welcome :D Glad we could be of some help :D

I'm sure I speak for other when I say we've had a tonne of help from here, so anything that can be done in return :D

Glad you've reached a conclusion that you're happy and comfortable with :D

It's great to hear some positive to come from HHO - all to often people jump onto the 'bitchy' bandwagon.... and have nothing nice to say...

Luckily all the post I have done have received lovely comments and support. - Thanks to you all.

Well done to all of you involved :-)
