Somewhere to do work experience wanted!!

Hello :) I'm looking for somewhere to do my work experience hours (Im at college) for maybe a month or so in the summer. Would need accomodation and somewhere for my horse to live. I've worked on riding schools/livery yards and also at a kids swim school so im good with workign with children, I've had a horse for 4 years now and I compete regularly novice/discovery bsja. Would prefer to work on a big yard, so anybody out there looking for some help this summer dont hesitate to let me know! Also might have a friend with similar experience as me looking too.

you will be very lucky to fins all that. most places dont offer long term work experience unless it is serious lt like working pupil(more than summer months) look for these placements on jobs here on h&h ive found that finding good high level riders and producers near to home has been the only real option for me as unfortunately from experience no one offers accomodation send your cv to any yards that interest you and put yourself out there as much as possible(ads in local tack stores and feed merchants). hope this helps and good luck!! x
 
For us (for example) you wouldn't be able to bring your horse - when you have so many stipulations of what is and isn't acceptable, it will be quite hard to find something.
Maybe you could put your horse on holiday somewhere whilst you are working? That would at least give you a better chance of finding work.

Where are you based?

Lots of riders now have websites so it may be worth trawling the net and sending off emails, making phone calls etc.
