Somthing exciting to do this sat near bridport??

Ok so I was hoping to go to the beach with my horse this sat but with -2/3 temps i dont thing going for a good blast in the sea/ surf is going to be a good idea. So does anyone have any ideas?? I have transport so happy to travel but not to far about an hour tops. So.....

I dunno, the beach will be pretty deserted! I've galloped pointers on the beach in temperatures lower than that and didn't find any frozen/slippy bits, exercise sheet on the horse, lots of coats, thermals and socks on me and a change of clothes in the lorry. Just in case Worse thing was the road getting there!

Which beach? Every time I've been to Weymouth beach recently it's been really busy with lots of people and dog walkers. How about boxing somewhere like puddletown woods or hardy's monument.
