Lovely HHOers, i hate to post this but as my family know me so well they have got me vouchers and money for xmas. Now, the boy and I are hoping to go to a few parties in the new year and i have realised that i am in need of some nice new boots (well, not in need per-se his others are tatty but useable i just want new ones!!) with that in mind i was wondering on ppls suggestions for a 'all rounder' boot. I'm after something not too pricey but that i can use for SJ and XC, i'm not jumping that big tbh, will prob only go in for prenov and nov at most. I've looked at premier equines (love them!) but not sure if i can get away with them for SJ. Any ideas very much welcome!!!

I have the PE xc breathable ones and so far love them - will be properly tested next season but ridden in them and very impressed :). Not sure you would get away with those for SJ though. I have eskadron tendon boots on the front for SJ which do the job. I did have their xc boots (fronts) and they held up really well for many years :) they also do different colours now if you like matching your XC stuff but don't think they do a breathable range. What about premier equine extreme eventing boots? don't know if the backs would be suitable for SJ but if you use back boots you could buy their fetlock boots to use alongside the dual purpose fronts in the SJ ring?

ooh thanks! i did wonder about getting away with the PE fronts for SJ and thought about for time being getting myself some cheap back boots off ebay for him while we get started xc and save for other backs. Tbh would rather have new fronts as they're the ones he knocks most!
