I'm sooo excited! After a long search I have finally found a new horsey!
Had to have my old boy PTS three and a half years ago now, for the first three years I wasn't ready to buy another horse as didn't feel ready emotionally. Then on the third anniversary of his death I finally felt ready...so...for the past six months I have been looking for a new neddy to share my life with.
I went to view a mare yesterday and she is perfect! I have made an offer which has been accepted by her owner and I have been running round like a busy bee. Yesterday I arranged the livery and transport to pick her up next Sunday and today I have arranged for the vetting to take place on Friday.
Now I don't know what to do with myself! I cannot stop grinning, I'm feeling so happy and on a complete high! I know I still have to await the results of the vetting but I'm sure she will pass with flying colours!
So cures needed! How do I stop walking round grinning like a Cheshire cat! I have obviously tried wine which has been quite beneficial but any other advice on how to stop looking like the cat who got the cream would be appreciated!
Very excited of Surrey!
