Why is no one buying horses :((( whyyyyy!

Has anyone sold one recently?

I don't even know what to do anyone. What kind of money do you get from auctions?

I didnt sell him in the end but people were literally fighting over my cob. I think because I'd priced him far, far to low! But I could have sold him 10 times over to people who were going to turn up with the trailer, and the same again to people offering long term homes. It all depends what your selling and how you price it.

Auctions arent a good way to sell for anything other than pennies though :(

i would not sell in a auction!! they are bringing between £50 and £300 at the moment, if you have one to sell try your local tack shops and the internet with good photos or in the secretary tent at local shows if your competing maybe worth a announcement over the pa system to say its for sale! market not moving at much at the moment hunxxx

What are you selling, Dressagelove? Can you p.m. me, please? I'm not looking personally but I know a couple of people who are. And, depending upon type, I know of someone else looking on behalf of clients.

Many thanks.

I have replied to three ads recently, and all three horses were sold (all were around 16hh, cobs or middleweights, under £1500)
I was at Beeston 2 wks ago, frustratingly the horses I was interested in were withdrawn as they were sold outside the ring.
I can't comment on the sale of horses beyond the fact that all the ones I like the look of are snapped up!

I've ended up full loaning mine for a 2 year term (extends every 2 years ) I was going to sell but given the market I didn't want to loose full control.

It's tough out there and auctions are worse!
