I don't post here much but I do lurk! And I've totally bored my horsey friends to death with this today!
After being away in france for 4 months on a ski season I went and collected my horse today from his loaner! It was amazing to see him and I missed him so much!!! He's all settled into a new yard as my old yard had no stables but I think this new yard could be amazing! Everyone seems lovely and there is lots of opportunities to go places and for both of us to really improve this summer!
I'm definately not going to work abroad again, even though i'd have a supervisor job. I missed him and riding too much! I think this time away has made me appreciate him a lot more! I literally can't wait to get to the yard tomorrow and have a little hack about
then go and watch/help the other liveries at the local show!
I also wanted to say his loaner took amazing care of him, despite getting pregnant 2 months in and not being able to ride. So have faith! there are amazing loaners out there who will look after your horse like he's their own even when your not there to check!
