Took my boy to his first ever jumping show today!! I wasn't expecting much as he has never jumped a course or even seen a filler, just the odd jump in the school (was only broken January).

Done the clear round first and he jumped 2 lovely clears. Then jumped the first and second class and we had 1 down in each class. Bit frustrating but he jumped so well, didn't look at any of the fillers and so keen but listened to me the whole time.

Can't wait til the next show now, so proud of him

Bless him, what a star. There's a huge difference to jumping a course at a show so to only have one down in each is brilliant and to not look at anything or be bothered by it all is even better!
