hopefully getting my new saddle but not for 3 weeks.

the boy's getting bored of lunging and long reining.

I'm going to start riding bareback as of tomorrow in the school. It's been nice knowing you all

I think I'll probably need some brandy beforehand too.

Gotta ride him though so need to do something - none of the other saddles fit him......ahhhh
 
I hade the same problem when i got my saddle for my new horse, the man said it would be 3weeks, 6 1/2 weeks later!!!!! i finally get it!

Was not a happy person at all!!!
 
just don't want to risk putting another saddle on without a fitter.

oh well, will help my seat and I'm sure he'll tell me pretty soon if he doesn't like it!
 
ooh!! your brave!!

I rode B out in the summer bareback as he had a fly bite on his girth area so I didnt want to put a saddle on him.

We had a sponsered ride a few days later and I wanted to see how riding him bare back was incase I had to do the sponsored ride bare back (it wasnt a traditional sponsored ride with jumps and going fast,.,, it was a picnic ride I organised to raise money for the brooke courses for horses)

Anyway, long story short... I lasted 25 mins and had to get off!! Neither me or B found it comfortable! (thankfully the fly bites had heeled enough to get a saddle on him by the sponsored ride!)

Best of luck tho!!

Would be good if you could get somone to video you, I love seeing people do things that I cant! *sob*!
