Soothing fly bites

Any ideas for potions or washes that will help sooth fly bites? Share horsebis suffering. He's covered in little bites. Now has a fly rug but we want to help settle the itching. He seems fine in the field but as soon as he comes in he goes mad itching them.

Any ideas?
