sore after shoeing ???

my boy done his check ligament and was due to be shod while in stable, but as was sore did not think it wise to have leg pulled about. waited till leg was less sore and on the mend so went about 9 weeks normally always done 6 week at most. vet looked at him day he was shod and rescanned him, said he did just look a little foot sore but not to worry and to start walking him under saddle build up slowly. so this was Thursday and still a bit pottery how long is reasonable to put it down to sore feet and what would you do. i no ground is solid which wont help either.

horse out of shoes for a long while(fortnight upwards)can often find the new shoes a little tight, and appear a bit lame.

Was he unshod for a while then? I would call farrier just to check it's not nailbind or something.
