Blue is starting to rub his face raw down the sides is there anything other than sudocrem I can put on he is also rubbing his mane and tail.he wears a rambo fly rug don't know what else to do

It sounds like sweet itch. Keep fly rug (with belly cover and hood) on all the time except when ridden. To relieve immediate discomfort, try applying Aloe Vera gel. That cools the skin and doesn't seem to cause any adverse reaction. If you wash the horse, be careful which shampoo you use. Some horses are allergic to Tea tree oil which are in many shampoos. A good gentle (human) shampoo is Dead sea magic. You can get it and AV from health food shops.
