Last Sunday, OH and I were out giving carriage rides with Cinders.(Cinders is a donkey, but don't let that put you off
) We noticed a small area on her lip. It didn't appear sore and nowhere near the bit, so we carried on.
During the week it seemed to heal up, but today, when I got to the field, it was very red and raw looking. I tried to take a photo, but Cinders insisted she had to eat my mobile phone.
Bad picture, but this shows how red it was.
Went back an hour or so later with OH, so he held her while I took some photos.
I have applied some Aloe vera Gel for today, but am wondering the best way to treat it. Any ideas please?
