MY little princess pony has rain scald on his nose ?

I have been treating with Malaseb and Filta-bac, but I've only managed 2 treatments and he's thrown his toys out of the pram! It's clearly very sore (and he's a pansy!)

How on earth do I treat it?! I'm only small so he can rag me around and I can't reach when he is wheeling around with his head in the air.

Tell me some cunning plans that I clearly haven't thought of!

I have a very similar 11.2 pony ? I feel your pain.
At one point over summer (sun burn is our issue) I figured I’d turn him out and while he thought I was just taking his Headcollar off, whack a load of cream on.... he literally threw himself on the floor and had some kind of flid, almost taking my legs out from under me.
So the only advice I have it don’t try the element of surprise ?‍♀️

Sorry but that did make me laugh!

It's such a difficult one!! I can't stand on anything as he won't stand still and I certainly can't 'contain' him as he would go through me

I usually use a slow and patient advance/retreat method with applying stuff if I meet resistance. I can usually get some cooperation that way. But it does take ages if they are very wary. I admit to just wrestling the Welsh A into submission for suncream this summer... I gave her treats after the wrestling and she got more cooperative every time.

I struggled to get eye ointment from the vet into his lordships eye, this was 4 years ago, he was snapping baling twine off the wall, he pulled a full sized metal field gate off its hinges which nearly landed on me, getting dangerous, always nearly jabbing tube in his eye, soooo, I grabbed his ear, hey presto, worked a treat, less trauma for pony less dangerous for me and done in seconds not ages and very upset pony, did a video in case it was any help to anyone, dont know if it would help on your case.
