Just by where the bit goes my horse has a sore, its not from the bit because it is in the wrong place and is only on one side.
Its red and the flys are really attracted to it, but you can't put a fly mask there. It does'nt affect him when being ridden as the bit doesn't touch it but it looks quite sore and looks like I've been gobbing him in the mouth.
The skin over the top of it is peeling off it looks kinda painful but he's not hugely bothered by it.
Does anyone know what this could be?
