Before I explain I will add that I will be calling on a a vet and back person after the weekend, but just wondered if anyone had an ideas xx
Yesterday I was grooming pony ready to go to pony club, and when I brushed at the base of his neck, top of withers, he jumped out of his skin, it seemed to get better when I gave him a good scratch, so decided to get my daughter on just to see what he was like under saddle and he was fine.
The saddle does not touch where he seems to be sensitive.
Got to pony club and this week we were out on the field so like the other ponies he was very excited, but all of a sudden he was bucking like heck, so got daughter off, touched the area and he was not happy, so trotted him up and was fine, again got daughter on and he was the same, again the sadle does not go near the area, but this time he would not let any one touch him.
I am at a loss!!!! he has been scratching under a tree, could he have briused himself?, he is complelty happy and normal in every other way
