My sister-law's 20+ year old mare's belly is swollen and sore. It has been swollen for 3 or 4 days and is sore to the touch. The swelling starts right behind where the girth goes and looks like it is swollen along the vein line on both sides and in between across the bottom of the belly. She is otherwise eating and acting normal. Any help would be appreciated.
