So we have a 20year old pony, who about 5 years ago developed cancerous growths over the end of his willy which resulted in him having to have the end removed (poor boy
) however when they sewed it back up they dont seem to have done a great job, when he wees it seems to spray everywhere.
And now with all the hot weather and flies it has started looking raw and bloody again with the flies around it. Horse is genuinely not bothered about it at the moment (he was earlier in the summer but the vet came out and gave it a wash and some anti-itch stuff which seemed to take away the itch but not really improve it) but I am very aware we cannot just leave it now - I just wondered if anyone had any ideas about what to do about it without irritating it any more.
