i had the vet out yesterday to see my horse because he has been a bit touchy when i am mounting. Vet did a thermal reading and it has showed up a heat area on the nearside of his withers.
which specialist would you call out next

obviously i am going to need a saddle fitter but do i call out a back person 1st and if so which sort, chiro, mc timo, etc
I have only just purchased horse so am not sure how long this has been going on for. he is only four and really hasn't done a lot yet.
any advise, i would be most grateful

I would call my physio and go from there, also have you heard of equine touch, we have started using a lady who does equine touch and emotional release. I thought it was a load of rubbish at 1st but after seeing our highly strung 4 year old mare fall in to a daze I changed my opinion lol

No one yet. Give him a week or two off and apply witch hazel to the area daily. Then get a good saddle fitter out.
